I graduated with my Master of Social Work from Aurora University. I have had experience with mental health conditions in a variety of settings, with the most recent being in community mental health. Through internships, working for a hospital, a non-profit, and in a communty setting, I feel I have truly honed my approach in the therapy setting. Every client receives individualized care, as therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I became a therapist because life is messy- and people deserve a place where they don't have to pretend it isn't. I've always been interested in what's beneath the surface: the thoughts we don't say out loud, the patterns we get stuck in, and the ways we cope when things feel overwhelming. Therapy shouldn't feel clinical or disconnected- it should feel real, honest, and actually helpful. My approach is straightforward, supportive, and grounded in helping you understand yourself while building the tools you need to handle whatever life throws your way.
