Amelia Fugee is a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southwestern College & New Earth Institute, with a concentration in Child Development, Trauma and Crisis. She has a particular interest in supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating grief, trauma, relationships, and life transitions. Her approach is grounded in person-centered, trauma-informed care and informed by attachment and somatic perspectives. Before entering the counseling field, Amelia worked as an educator, artist, and creative facilitator. This background informs her interest in integrating art and creative expression into therapy when meaningful to the client. She approaches counseling with authenticity, empathy, and curiosity, valuing a space where clients can slow down, feel safe, and explore the complexity of their experiences.
