Amelia Powell, LMFT-Candidate Hi, I’m Amelia and my goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood—a place where you can safely explore your experiences, build on your strengths, and move toward healing with curiosity and hope. I have my Masters of Science in marriage and family therapy and am a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist Candidate. Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, and I believe no one should have to navigate life's challenges alone. I strive to bring a calm, compassionate, and collaborative presence into each session because I believe meaningful change begins within a trusting therapeutic relationship. I have a particular passion for helping individuals and young families/couples understand how their experiences, relationships, and life stories have shaped who they are while recognizing that growth and healing are always possible. My approach to therapy is grounded in a systemic and attachment-based perspective, meaning I view each person within the context of their relationships, family, culture, and life experiences. I believe that every individual has unique strengths and an incredible capacity for growth. I do not believe people come to therapy because there is something "wrong with them." Rather, I see how the things that we have experienced have shaped us, our relationships, and our stories. Collaboratively, we will work to understand patterns that may no longer be serving you, strengthen your relationships,
