Introduction

Hi, I’m Amelya Foster, founder of the Resilience Center and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping individuals reclaim their lives from the grip of trauma and co-occurring disorders. My goal has been to create a space where healing is not only possible but sustainable. I believe in empowering people to transform their challenges into sources of strength, and hope. I draw from a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based strategies, always tailoring treatment to meet the unique needs of each individual. Beyond clinical expertise, I strive to foster a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can feel truly seen and supported.
