Introduction

Life changes can be stressful, even when they’re “good” changes. A new career, parenting transition, relocation, or even preparing for retirement can stir up anxiety, uncertainty, or low mood. I specialize in helping women, couples, and professionals manage stress, anxiety, mild depression, and life transitions so they can move forward with clarity and confidence. My approach is both structured and supportive. I utilize my Healing H.E.R. Model©, a six-step framework that provides direction throughout counseling: building a trusting relationship, assessment, setting personal and professional goals, implementing evidence-based interventions, facilitating healthy termination, and offering supportive follow-up. Along the way, I check in on your capacity, condition, and courage© — three checkpoints that measure readiness, resilience, and growth. In sessions, I draw on evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and couples interventions such as PREPARE/ENRICH. For clients who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling, incorporating spiritual principles alongside clinical care. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel understood, equipped, and empowered to handle life’s transitions with resilience. Whether you’re seeking relief from stress, navigating role changes, or strengthening your relationship, I would be honored to walk with you.
