Introduction

If you’re here, it might be because life feels a bit heavy right now. Perhaps you’re pouring from an empty cup, constantly putting everyone else’s needs before your own until there’s nothing left for you. Or maybe you’re caught in a cycle of overthinking, replaying conversations, or worrying about a future that feels uncertain. Whether you are working two jobs to keep the lights on, a couple who's trying to get on the same page, a corporate professional navigating high-pressure stress, or a veteran transitioning to civilian life—we want you to know that you don’t have to carry it all alone. A Place to Breathe, Heal, and Find Your Way Back to You: A Down-to-Earth Approach to Healing Our practice is a warm, grounded space where you can finally exhale. We combine a deep, empathetic understanding of life's challenges with the practical tools you need to move forward. Our goal isn't a "quick fix"; it’s about helping you build a life that feels more authentic, hopeful, and truly meaningful to you. How We Support You Every person’s story is unique, and we honor that by working collaboratively with you. We blend heart-centered support with evidence-based expertise to help you navigate: Finding Peace: Quieting the noise of anxiety, burnout, and "stuckness." Healing the Past: Specialized care for trauma and PTSD, including veteran support. Restoring Connection: Navigating relationship hurdles and the isolation of grief. Rediscovering Strength: Treating depression and addiction with a focus on your long-term well-being. Our Clinicians Asim Husain, LCSW: I'm a 19-year Army veteran passionate about helping other veterans navigate life in and out of the military. I have extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and addiction. I use evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Prolonged Exposure for PTSD. Amina Ellrott, LPC: I have a deep heart for the power of therapy and I have dedicated years to supporting people through a vast range of life situations and unique paths. My approach is rooted in an Existential-Humanistic philosophy, where we work together to gain insight into your world and the hurdles you’re facing. I strive to foster awareness that can help you reconnect with your inner voice, learn to trust yourself again, and build a compassionate, lasting relationship with yourself. Your First Step is the Bravest One Taking the first step toward change can feel daunting, but we’re here to make it as easy as possible. There is no pressure and no judgment here—just a real, human connection and a commitment to helping you get your life back on track. When you’re ready to take that next step, we are ready to meet you there.
