Introduction

I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in trauma-focused work with adults—particularly those living with the long-term impact of childhood abuse. I consider it an honor to hold space for people’s stories, and I approach each client with compassion, curiosity, and deep respect for the strength it takes to seek support. A core belief in my work is that you are the expert on your own life. I often tell clients that they already hold their own “PhD” in their lived experience. My role is not to fix you, but to walk alongside you—to help you make meaning of your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward becoming your most authentic and grounded self. Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and centered on building trust. I also have extensive experience working with individuals exposed to high levels of stress and trauma, including safety forces such as police, fire, EMS, and 911 dispatchers. I understand the cumulative emotional toll these roles can carry and strive to provide a space that feels steady, confidential, and supportive for those who spend their lives supporting others. In addition, I bring a unique perspective to my work with athletes and high-achievers. I coached competitive gymnastics for over 20 years and am also a parent of athletes. This background helps me deeply understand issues such as performance anxiety, perfectionism, identity, burnout, pressure, and self-criticism. I enjoy supporting athletes in developing resilience, confidence, and balance—both in their sport and in life. Alongside my clinical work, I have held leadership and supervision roles throughout my career, including Clinical Director and Clinical Operations Manager. I’ve trained and supervised clinicians, developed programs, and provided clinical oversight across multiple organizations. This background strengthens my work with clients by grounding it in strong ethics, thoughtful clinical judgment, and a deep commitment to quality care. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, impacted by past experiences, or simply ready for something to change, I offer a space where you don’t have to carry everything alone. I would be honored to support you in your healing journey.
