Introduction

My name is Amy. I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out takes courage, and it’s a beautiful first step toward hope and growth. I desire to walk alongside you with compassion and care—encouraging, challenging, and celebrating you along the way. Take a deep breath and know that you are deeply valued. Supporting Teens, Emerging Adults, and Their Parents I specialize in working with older teens, emerging adults, and their parents through this transformative stage of life. These years bring both excitement and uncertainty as young people navigate relationships, independence, and the future. Having one caring adult can make a lasting impact, and my goal is to provide that support—helping teens and young adults grow in confidence, resilience, and meaningful connection. Education, Training, and Approach I hold a BAS in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University and an MS in Licensed Professional Counseling from Mid-America Christian University. My clinical experience includes work in both nonprofit and private practice settings, with training in Trauma-Focused CBT, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Polyvagal Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and more. In private practice, I provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care with faith-based counseling available upon request. My most recent training includes EMDR (EMDRIA-approved) and certification in the Flash Technique for reducing distress from traumatic memories and anxiety. Grounded in a Christian worldview, I strive to offer personalized care that integrates faith and clinical best practices for those who seek it. “There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.” ― Soren Kierkegaard Amy Glover, MS, LPC Member, American Association of Christian Counselors Scheduling & Insurance Current clients may log into the client portal to manage appointments. Please note: as of 10/31/25, I will be out of network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. I remain in network with Aetna and UnitedHealthcare.
