I believe that life is full of challenges, and that as human beings we are constantly navigating relationships, suffering, and change. Hardship is a part of life—it is how we cope with it and subsequently heal from it that matters. I use a trauma, attachment, and existential lens to help individuals feel safe again in their own bodies and then to establish and cultivate safety in their relationships. I have over eight years of experience working in the field of addiction recovery and currently treat anxiety, depression, grief, ADHD, relationship and attachment difficulties, substance use, codependency, self-esteem, and trauma (childhood and developmental trauma, C-PTSD, PTSD). I am neurodivergent-informed and offer LGBTQIA+ affirming care. I incorporate tools from EMDR, Psychodynamics, EFT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness to assist clients in first feeling their emotions, coping with them, and then learning from them. All emotions are part of the human experience—the more we can accept and listen to the unpleasant ones, the easier life becomes. When we can look into the eye of the storm and know that we are strong enough to weather it; life, with its multitude of obstacles, becomes a journey of many paths rather than a destination of just one. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, paddleboarding, backpacking, camping, and being active. I am a nature and animal enthusiast and a strong proponent of the connection between mind, body, and soul. If I am not out adventuring, you can find me relaxing at home with my three fur babies.
