Introduction

I have over 20 years of experience as a therapist for older adolescents, young adults, adults, parents, and families. I use a variety of approaches in providing trauma informed counseling including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, Emotional Focused Therapy, and strength based therapy. My specialties include mood and anxiety disorders, transitional issues/adjustment, and trauma. I help clients explore ways to make the changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. My belief is that we all need someone to talk with who will listen in a warm, nonjudgmental environment. I view counseling as a collaborative process designed to empower one to accomplish their mental health and wellness goals.
