In-person In-person
Specializes in: Child or Adolescent, Marital and Premarital, Parenting, Adoption, Blended Families,

Introduction

I work with adult individuals, couples, children, teens, and families who seek a partner on their path to self-discovery, decreased internal conflict and greater well-being and satisfaction in their relationships. I specialize in child/adolescent and family therapy, and also support young adults and couples with relational concerns. Common themes in my work with teens and families include differing expectations and family conflict, social/relational skill building, and management of academic pressures including perfectionism and high anxiety. I have experience supporting neurodivergent clients with ADHD and OCD. I work with children at their level with the use of expressive arts and sand play therapies. For couples, we'll work on improved communication, breach of trust and conflict resolution, coping strategies and parenting skills, and more. I am also experienced at guiding individuals through their grief process, and counsel those with suicide risk when it feels like there is no way out. Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming and even scary, but it doesn't mean you are not ready. It’s okay to take that first step with some hesitation. What matters is your choice to prioritize yourself and your well-being and know you are not alone. If you are unsure of what counseling has to offer you or do not know where to start, we can work together to identify your needs and to clarify the direction that feels best for you. There are many reasons why people seek therapy, and whatever is yours, I am ready to meet you where you are. I am a warm and welcoming counselor with a practical approach, and I will prioritize your specific needs as you navigate your unique life circumstances. You will find yourself in a non-judgmental environment where you are respected and accepted for being yourself. I offer a free 15-minute initial phone consultation. Just click the small envelope icon at the top of this webpage to get in touch, or phone. I believe deeply in the transformative power of therapy and look forward to connecting with you.
