In an increasingly complex world, many individuals grapple with feelings of anxiety and depression, which can obscure their sense of purpose and hinder their ability to achieve personal goals. Mental health counselors play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate these challenges, guiding them towards a deeper understanding of themselves and their aspirations. The counseling process as a transformative journey that not only alleviates psychological distress but also empowers individuals to discover meaning in their lives and harness their potential to achieve their goals. My practice combines existential theory with alternative spirituality, focusing on exploring the deeper meanings of life and self. It emphasizes self-empowerment and transforming weaknesses into strengths. While incorporating cognitive behavior therapy to foster positive patterns for healing and overcoming obstacles to connect with one's higher self. Using an empathic and nonjudgmental approach, I hold space for those who wish to work on improving their lives and overall well being. Forming a foundation of growth, respect and positive regard for our own unique individuality.
