Introduction

I am a clinical social worker licensed in Florida, Texas, and The District of Columbia. I obtained my Masters of Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Texas at Austin. Over the past decade I have worked with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan as they navigate the complexities of life and role transitions. Life is complex so, similarly, I draw from a number of modalities to best meet the needs of my clients. I offer an integrative and trauma-informed approach to therapy. I value the mind-body connection to the therapeutic process, and understand the impact our story can have on our life today. I must confess that I also have a penchant for neurobiology and all things nerdy. As a bilingual therapist I have the privilege to extend services in Spanish and English to support multicultural and intergenerational needs. I am a mother to a toddler, and this role - the journey to and through motherhood along with co-parenting - informs much of my practice today. I have learned that the needs of individuals in a globalized world require a modern and open-minded disposition to achieve a sense of balance. I am currently taking on clients (teenagers and adults) navigating life transitions. If you are in a season of change, and need concrete tools and support to navigate the challenges and emotional upheaval of transformation, I would be honored to accompany you in that process.
