“What is the bravest thing you've ever said?” asked the boy. "Help," said the horse. - Charlie Mackesy's book, The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse Taking the first step is always the hardest but if you are reading this, you did it. Be proud of yourself, I'm so happy you are here. A little about me is that I see therapy as a vehicle for change where you are the driver and I am just a passenger along for the ride. You are capable of change because behavior can change. I approach therapy from a Narrative/Solution-Focused approach where what happens matters and now how do we make change and create meaning. I also use different models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Person-Centered. This allows me to use different perspectives when helping different individual needs. I was an elementary teacher for over 10 years and I love working with children, as well as adults, couples and families. My focus is on life transitions, depression, anxiety, Women's issues, and parenting issues.
