I’m a licensed professional counselor who works with individuals healing from relational trauma (romantic, parental, familial, peer, foster relationships, etc.), attachment wounding, anxiety, and the lingering effects of chronic stress (PTSD & CPTSD). My approach is rooted in curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for the ways we, as humans, adapt to survive. While the behaviors we adapted during a survival state may be limiting our potential now, there's a true healing power that comes from recognizing and providing empathy toward the parts of us that learned these behaviors in order to keep us protected. Thus, I believe true healing happens when we slow down, turn inward, and gently make space for all parts of ourselves rather than attempting to avoid or simply "think" ourselves out of a survival response. My mission is to help you feel safe, connected, and more at home within yourself to help you live a more authentic, connected, and meaningful life. I offer an integrative, trauma-informed approach rooted in IFS through an attachment lens. Drawing from ACT, polyvagal theory, and sand tray, we’ll explore how your past shows up in thoughts, behaviors, and nervous system responses — supporting healing through insight, nervous system regulation, and deeper self-connection. I believe in walking beside you through your healing journey, utilizing my years of training and education to help navigate the path forward, but never believing myself to be the "expert" on your life or overruling your judgment calls. I believe you have the power to heal and self-actualize within, and I'm honored to help you uncover this. I'm also not a "brick wall" therapist and bring an engaged and grounded energy into the room with me. Healing from your past can feel overwhelming and isolating, but you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we’ll gently explore your experiences in a safe, compassionate space, helping you grow self-compassion, build confidence, and reclaim your sense of safety and empowerment in your life.
