As an African American male therapist, I believe it is vital to be present in the counseling and coaching space. But if I’m honest, I once ran from this calling. For years, I lived without clear goals or direction, and my marriage was falling apart. It was a painful season—until God provided the guidance I needed to rebuild my life, my faith, and my family. That experience fuels my passion today: helping others find clarity, healing, and hope. Education & Professional Background I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wright State University and later my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Holy Cross in Louisiana. I am a National Board Certified Licensed Professional Counselor in both Louisiana and Ohio, offering in-person services in Louisiana and virtual counseling for Ohio residents. Before becoming a counselor, I spent most of my professional career in higher education, advancing to Director of Admissions and Student Life. I also served as a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) facilitator with JP Enterprises, gaining deep experience in cultural competency and leadership development.
