Andrea Nave is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She received her Master’s degree from Fordham University. Andrea has completed clinical training at the Regulation of Emotion & Anxiety Disorder Lab at Yale University, Compulsive Obsessive and Anxiety Program at Fordham University, NYU Child Study Center Neuropsychology & Learning Service, NYU Child Study Center Attention Deficit Hyperactivity & Behavior Disorders Service, Bellevue Hospital Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Yale Child Study Center Anxiety and Mood Service, Anxiety Disorders Center at Institute of Living, and the Anxiety Institute of Greenwich. She is particularly interested in cognitive behavioral treatment of anxiety, mood, & behavior disorders in anxious youth, and is trauma-informed. Andrea takes a whole family approach to treatment, effectively utilizing parent-based interventions, including the SPACE (Supportive Parenting of Anxious Childhood Emotions) program, parenting children with ADHD, and helping parents to break the cycle of generational trauma. Andrea is an ADHD-Clinical Services Provider. She is also the author of The How to Beat Anxiety Blog. Andrea is licensed in both CT and NY. Andrea also offers Care Navigation sessions to anyone in the United States. Care Navigation is a consultation service for individuals and families who need expert guidance on what to do next when facing concerns related to anxiety, OCD, ADHD, or other mental health challenges.
