Hi, I’m Andrea, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. Maybe you’ve been struggling for a while, maybe you’re going through a difficult transition, or maybe you’re simply feeling stuck and not quite sure what you need. Sometimes we know exactly why we’re seeking therapy, and sometimes we just know that something doesn’t feel right. Either way, there’s a place for you here. I believe therapy should feel like a safe, welcoming space where you can be yourself without judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported - not just as a client, but as a person. I work with children, adolescents, families, and adults, and I tailor therapy to the individual sitting in front of me. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person has their own story, experiences, strengths, and challenges, and I believe those things deserve to be understood before deciding where to go next. I especially enjoy working with children and adolescents. Growing up can be complicated, and sometimes kids and teens have a hard time finding the words to explain what they’re feeling. I strive to make therapy feel comfortable and approachable, creating a space where they can talk, laugh, be creative, ask questions, and express themselves in a way that feels natural to them. Whether we're working through anxiety, emotions, self-esteem, relationships, school, family changes, or simply trying to understand themselves a little better, my goal is to help them feel confident in their voice and abilities. I also believe that parents and families deserve support, too. When working with families, I look at the bigger picture and how our relationships, environment, and experiences can shape the way we feel and respond. My approach is collaborative, meaning we work together to understand what’s happening and find strategies that fit your family - not someone else’s. Most importantly, I believe you are the expert on your own life. I’m not here to tell you who you should be or what you should do. I’m here to listen, help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, and walk alongside you as you work toward the changes you want to make. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating, and you don’t have to navigate life’s difficult moments alone. Whether you’re reaching out for yourself, your child, or your family, I hope you’ll feel that you can come exactly as you are. I’d love to meet you. 🩵
