I’m a trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist supporting people navigating relational pain, identity shifts, and meaning-making across life stages. My background includes 20 years in care and crisis roles—in emergency departments, higher education, faith communities, and nonprofit leadership—supporting people under pressure, in transition, and searching for what matters. As both a therapist and an ordained pastor, I bring deep respect for the ways people wrestle with belief, identity, and belonging. That might mean exploring how faith once held you—or how it hurt you. If your story includes religious trauma, spiritual wounds, or questions you’re still untangling, we can make space for that. If it doesn’t, we won’t. Therapy here isn’t about preaching or persuading—it’s about creating a space that supports your own meaning-making, whatever shape it takes. My approach is warm and collaborative, yet down-to-earth and practical. We’ll work together to understand what’s happening beneath the surface, figure out what’s getting in the way, and build strategies that help you get unstuck and move forward. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe for you—there’s no rush to dive deep before you’re ready. Whether you need time to get your bearings or want to dive right in, We’ll follow your lead. You can expect to: • Make sense of what's driving your patterns and habits • Identify and understand your responses—whether protective, avoidant, reactive, or numb • Build tools for managing stress, staying clearheaded in conflict, and handling emotions • Reframe how you think about your challenges and your strengths • Zoom out to explore how your history, culture, and values shape your current experience I’ve completed Level 1 and 2 Gottman Method training for couples therapy and am certified in Prepare/Enrich. I’m a Limited Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LLMFT), which means I hold a master’s-level license and practice under ongoing supervision to ensure the highest standard of care. I’m currently supervised by Frances Waters, LMSW, DCSW, LMFT—a seasoned trauma and dissociation specialist.(https://www.waterscounselingandtraining.com/). I currently offer therapy on a private-pay basis. Sliding scale is available, and I provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement if needed. I’m committed to access, and we can talk through what’s possible. If you’re reading this and something resonates—whether it’s a tug of curiosity or a sense of relief—just drop me a message, and we’ll find a time to talk. I’m here to listen, and I welcome your questions. Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating or one-size-fits-all. It just has to start where you are.
