Introduction

Andrew Ho, M.D., enjoys solving problems that matter to his patients. He has been a psychiatrist since 1995 and trained medical students and psychiatry residents when he was clinical faculty at UCLA. My approach During the initial visit, Dr. Ho lays the foundation for a therapeutic relationship by clarifying the challenges and previous attempts to overcome them. Before the end of the session, he offers his impressions and recommendations to enable an informed discussion regarding treatment decisions. Every session begins with clarification of the challenges and ends with discussion of treatment options. Relevant information that does not come up during the first session frequently emerge subsequently. This is expected and never too late. My focus Dr. Ho enjoys teaching patients how to gain greater control over their lives. In particular, Dr. Ho specializes in combining psychotherapy and biological treatment to more rapidly resolve symptoms and speed recovery. He has successfully treated countless patients who suffer from insomnia, anxiety, depression, hopelessness, poor concentration, low energy, addiction, lack of motivation, and hallucinations. My goals for you The treatment journey is a partnership – the psychiatrist and patient actively work to identify remaining challenges and explore potential treatment options, recognizing that this collaborative effort is vital for achieving lasting wellness and resilience.
