I’m Anelys, a mental health therapist. I believe that therapy should feel like a safe, supportive space where you can better understand yourself, work through challenges, and create meaningful changes in your life. I take a compassionate and collaborative approach, meeting each client where they are without judgment. My approach incorporates evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR, along with mindfulness, emotion-regulation strategies, and other approaches tailored to each client's needs. For trauma-related concerns, I help clients process difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe and manageable rather than feeling pressured to revisit things before they are ready. I believe therapy is not about telling you how to live your life. Instead, my role is to help you understand what may be keeping you stuck, develop tools that work for you, and feel more confident in making choices that align with the life and relationships you want. Whether you're dealing with something that has been affecting you for years or you're going through a difficult period right now, you don't have to figure it all out on your own. Therapy can be a place to slow down, understand what's happening, and begin moving forward.
