I became a therapist to help reduce the stigma around mental health and to create a safe, supportive space where individuals feel seen, heard, and empowered. Often times, I think society wants us to fit into a mold. It can be exhausting and distressing to try and fit into the expectations of the world and others. Especially for children, teens, and young adults, there is pressure from the world, society, and social media to change who you are and be something you are not. We are all different and our differences makes us who we are. I don’t want to change you, I want you to find out what makes you who you are and find ways to support and embrace all parts of yourself!
