I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas (Go Cowboys!), I come from family of teachers. I began my professional career as a teacher for 9 years before becoming a school counselor for 4 years. I received my undergraduate degree in Education from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK and my Master's degree in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Traveling is my most favorite thing to do, and if there's a beach involved, I'm there! Throughout my years in education, I discovered a deep passion for helping people navigate emotional challenges and life transitions. Working closely with children and families exposed me to the emotional, financial, and social stressors that often go unaddressed in adulthood. It was during this time that I realized my calling was to support adults directly helping them heal, grow, and create healthier lives for themselves and, in turn, for those they love. After earning my Master’s in Counseling, I focused my work on adults who felt stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life they desired. With over 10 years of experience, I now specialize in supporting individuals through relational issues, major life transitions, and stress management. A significant part of my work centers on divorce recovery and helping individuals rebuild confidence, restore emotional well-being, and rediscover purpose and joy after heartbreak. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based, practical approaches, I provide a supportive, calming space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and patterns with compassion and clarity. Together, we focus on understanding what’s holding you back, strengthening emotional resilience, and creating meaningful goals that align with the life you want moving forward. I understand that seeking counseling can feel like a big and sometimes intimidating step. You don’t have to take it alone. My goal is to walk alongside you as you regain a sense of control, confidence, and hope helping you move from surviving to truly living.
