Introduction

Are you or one of your children feeling depressed or anxious? Is your family having difficulty communicating? I work with adolescents, adults and families around issues such as depression, anxiety, family conflict, and trauma. I will help you develop strong self-esteem, coping skills, and success in social, school, and family life. I strongly believe that we do not have to be held back by our pasts or struggles, but can grow and learn from them. I am here to work alongside you and your family to find ways to heal and thrive. Angelica practices psychotherapy from a wholistic approach to wellness, believing that all parts of a person (mind, body, spirit) must be in balance and cared for to reach overall health and happiness. ________________________________________________ Angelica comes from the coast of Massachusetts and now lives in Nashville, Tennessee. Angelica began her path as a therapist with a BA in Psychology from Gordon College and continued on to a Masters of Social Work from Boston University. Angelica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with 14+ years of experience, specializing in working with adolescents and adults. Angelica has a multifaceted background, having worked in outpatient and inpatient settings with all ages. She has helped people with mental health issues ranging from depression, anxiety, and relational stressors, to behavioral problems, substance abuse and suicidality. ________________________________________________ The Rocky Path of Adolescence The path we walk is never without rocks to stumble over, logs to leap over, or mud puddles we can not avoid but must trench through. The therapy room is a place for children to get help through their pre-teen and teenage years as they navigate the rocky road of adolescence. Identities are being created, beliefs are forming, and what better place to find guidance than with a mental health professional who gets it? Aspenglow works to help teens develop their self-esteem, decrease self-consciousness, and develop strong problem-solving skills. Aspenglow specializes in trauma therapy to help those who have experienced horrific events that keep them feeling stuck and helpless. Aspenglow helps teens rewrite their life narratives to become positive and self-affirming. ________________________________________________ Teen Process Group for Depression and Emotional Connection This in-person group is designed for teens ages 15–17 who are feeling withdrawn, lonely, or disconnected and want a safe, supportive space to share and relate with others who understand. Rather than focusing on worksheets or lessons, this group emphasizes connection, honesty, and belonging. Teens will have the opportunity to talk openly about their experiences with peers while developing insight into their emotions and relationships in real time. When: 8 weeks on Mondays 6-7:15pm (start date TBD) Group size is limited to maintain a close-knit and comfortable atmosphere. To learn more or set up a screening call, please reach out through the contact page — I’d be happy to talk with you about whether this group could be a good fit. ________________________________________________ Holiday Stress Management Group 3-Week December Series for Adults • In-Person in Old Hickory, TN The holidays can bring joy, but they can also stir up stress, family tension, emotional triggers, and pressure to do more than you realistically can. If this season tends to leave you overwhelmed or stretched thin, this group offers a steady place to reset and regain your footing. Over three weekly sessions, you’ll learn practical skills to navigate the challenges of December with more ease. Together, we’ll explore what drives your stress, build strategies to stay grounded during tough moments, and practice setting boundaries that protect your time, energy, and well-being. You’ll also create a simple, sustainable plan to support yourself through the rest of the month. This group is designed for adults who want both support and actionable tools as they move through a demanding season. You’ll leave with more clarity, more confidence, and a sense of connection with others facing similar pressures.
