In addition to being a licensed professional counselor, I am also a wife, a homeschooling mother of two (recently retired, class of 2025!), and a veteran, amongst other things. My work history includes multiple deployments as an active-duty warrant officer/pilot in the US Army, a civilian technical editor for the Army Flight Test Directorate, and extensive experience in Christian ministry as a biblically-based lay peer counselor. I returned to school for a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in order to gain the ability to integrate faith-based practices with evidence-based clinical interventions, to help clients seeking a holistic approach to healing and mental wellbeing. In short, I want to do for others what I wanted a counselor to do for me, all those years ago when I was numb and didn’t know what to do or how to make it better, but I knew for sure that something had to change.
