Introduction

Hello! I’m Anjali (she/they). As a second-generation Indian American therapist, I make it a priority to create a trauma-informed, culturally curious, and affirming space. Therapy with me is making space for all your stories – and gently rewriting them to help you heal, change, and grow. I specialize in working with Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) folks. Much of my work has been with clients trying to navigate their identities and relationships, immigration and cultural experiences, and the ways complex trauma may have impacted them. I practice from a narrative stance, which means that I approach all of my sessions collaboratively, with curiosity. I also draw from Gestalt, Expressive Arts, Internal Family Systems, Somatic, and Solution-Focused therapies, tailoring my work to each client. I love integrating fiction into therapy, so definitely bring in your favorite pieces for us to work with!
