Hello! I’m Anjali (she/they). As a second-generation Indian American therapist, I make it a priority to create a trauma-informed, culturally curious, and affirming space. Therapy with me is making space for all your stories – and gently rewriting them to help you heal, change, and grow. I specialize in working with Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) folks. Folks I work with are queer, neurodiverse, and trying to understand who they are. In our work together, we may navigate identities and relationships, immigration and cultural experiences, and the ways complex trauma may have impacted you. For people in relationships, I work on improving communication, conflict resolution, and regaining intimacy. I often work with people in relationships who have multicultural backgrounds and intersectional identities. I practice from a narrative stance, which means that I approach all of my sessions collaboratively, with curiosity. I also draw from Gestalt, Expressive Arts, Internal Family Systems, Somatic, and Solution-Focused therapies, tailoring my work to each client. I love integrating fiction into therapy, so definitely bring in your favorite pieces for us to work with!
