Over the years, Anna Kate has gained experience working with people of all ages. She has worked with individuals and in groups through various opportunities including Kanakuk Kamps, youth ministry, children’s ministry, nannying, and now being a counselor and mother. Working and volunteering in ministry settings has been an amazing avenue to learn more about herself, others, and what it looks like to support people in highs and lows. Beyond working with people in ministry settings, her counseling experience thus far has allowed her to gain exposure to those who are enduring effects of childhood sexual abuse, trauma, drug and alcohol addictions, postpartum depression, self-esteem and identity issues, abandonment, and parent-child relationship issues. Anna Kate is passionate about working with college-aged students and adults. As a mother of young kids, she understands the challenges and sacrificial work that come with being a mom. If you are a mother to littles and struggling with PPD/PPA, she will come alongside you to help you learn what it looks like to care for your own heart and mind in this season of exhaustion. Relationships are important to her, and are a big part of what she believes impact mental and spiritual wellbeing. Her mission is to build a meaningful relationship with you, create a safe place for you to gain insight, and understand what makes you - you! Her desire is to glorify God in all that she does. She believes He is the One who continuously gives grace, loves unconditionally, and is our ultimate healer.
