Introduction

I am Anna Moochoon, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) based in Rockville, Maryland. I offer secure online psychotherapy, couples therapy, and sex therapy for adults in Maryland. My style is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative, with room for both practical support and deeper self-understanding. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is central to my work, alongside emotion-focused, solution-focused, dialectical behavior, existential, psychodynamic, and attachment perspectives. I welcome immigrants, people from multicultural backgrounds, LGBTQ+ individuals and couples, and neurodivergent and gifted adults. I speak English, Georgian, Norwegian, and Russian. I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Palo Alto University and am a doctoral candidate in Counseling Psychology at National University. My professional training includes Sex Therapy Comprehensive Training at the Buehler Institute. I accept Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare for individual psychotherapy only. Blue Cross Blue Shield participation is coming soon. Sex therapy, couples therapy, and coaching are private-pay services. Coverage depends on your specific plan; please confirm your benefits before scheduling. Coaching focuses on personal development and does not involve diagnosing or treating mental health conditions.
