I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). I provide compassionate, evidence-based care with a focus on understanding each person's unique experiences, combining medication management with supportive therapy when appropriate. My areas of focus include mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD, and I’m committed to creating a safe, collaborative space for healing and growth. My approach to mental healthcare is holistic, person-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe in building a therapeutic partnership with each patient, grounded in respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity. So that treatment decisions align with their values and goals. In practice, I often integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and elements of psychodynamic theory to support emotional insight and behavior change. I also emphasize psychoeducation and collaborative medication management, empowering individuals to take an active role in their mental wellness. I primarily work with adolescents and adults navigating mood disorders, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and ADHD. I’m especially comfortable treating depression, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, PTSD, and emotional dysregulation. Many of my patients are high-functioning individuals who may appear outwardly successful but are struggling internally with chronic stress, burnout, or unresolved trauma. I strive to create a supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to heal. My communication style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I aim to create a safe, affirming space where patients feel comfortable being honest and vulnerable. Sessions with me are structured yet flexible. I balance clinical insight with compassion, encouraging open dialogue, curiosity, and shared decision-making. Patients often describe working with me as feeling supported, respected, and truly heard.
