My personal journey with OCD began when my youngest son needed specialized treatment. After a long and discouraging search across the state for a therapist who used evidence-based methods, my son bravely took the initiative to seek the specialized care he needed out of state. This experience profoundly shaped me and led me to found Mindset Family Therapy in 2008 to provide our community with the local expertise I once struggled to find. As Clinical Director, I oversee the training and mentorship of our therapists to ensure they are guided by experts in the field. I specialize in treating complex OCD patterns, specifically scrupulosity and LDS mission-related transitions. Since 2012, I have held specialized training from the Behavior Therapy Training Institute and regularly present at International OCD Foundation conferences. Outside the clinic, I enjoy hiking, yoga, music, reading, and seeking new adventures while traveling.
