Hello! I am a systemic, culturally responsive therapist who helps couples and families move from stuck patterns to secure connection. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Bowenian and intergenerational perspectives, where I look at how stress, roles, and family-of-origin dynamics shape what’s happening in the room today. I draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy and Gottman-informed tools to slow conflict, build emotional safety, and practice repair in real time. I work collaboratively—centering each client’s lived experience and honoring the impact of race, culture, gender, and power on relational health. My interests include communication breakdowns, recurring conflict cycles, premarital counseling, life transitions, and healing after trust injuries. Clients have described my style as thoughtful, nonjudgmental, and gently challenging. As an associate licensed marriage and family therapist, I practice under the supervision of Dr. Lastenia Francis, PhD, LMFT. I offer telehealth sessions and limited in-person availability. Focus Areas: Couples communication & repair, emotional regulation, family-of-origin patterns, life transitions, premarital work, culturally responsive care.
