Hello and welcome to my practice. You have made an important step in taking care of your emotional well-being. Mental health challenges are common. Most people will experience a mental health challenge at some point in their lives. Are you feeling anxious or depressed? Perhaps you are in a hurtful or toxic relationship and don’t know what to do. Most people find it difficult to break free from cycles of relationships like these. You might feel unworthy or small at times. Perhaps this leads you to people-please, saying yes when you want to say no or caretaking others out of fear of upsetting them. This can leave you feeling drained, overwhelmed, or even depressed. Many people who struggle with these feelings long to feel good about themselves. They want to feel confident and able to say no to people without feeling guilty. Perhaps you have tried to work on these problems on your own, but it has been hard. If this describes you, these challenges can hold you back; rob you of your peace, calm, and happiness. They can make you feel lonely, isolated, and without a sense of direction. There is an old saying that you move a mountain stone by stone. Let's start by picking up the first stones.
