Introduction

Hey, I'm Anthony. Thanks for stopping by! I truly love what I do — there’s nothing more meaningful to me than helping people feel more attuned, grounded, and embodied in their authenticity. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years in the entertainment industry in many roles, including as a performer, vocal coach, casting professional, and talent manager. That journey shaped my understanding of what it truly means to navigate an industry filled with high expectations and demand while nurturing your creativity, maintaining emotional well-being, and staying true to your sense of self. Through years of performance and coaching, I learned to step into another’s story and see the world through their eyes. That experience gives me a deep appreciation for the complexities people carry and helps me meet clients with greater understanding and attunement. I believe that understanding how the past shows up in our present can help us make sense of the struggles that hold us back from living as our fullest, most authentic selves. I see you as a whole person — separate from the problem — because the problem is the problem, not you. Together, we’ll work collaboratively to move beyond those obstacles and create a future aligned with the life and identity you’re envisioning for yourself. I draw on a range of tools to support clients in growing, creating, and performing with greater confidence and authenticity, blending talk therapy with breathwork, mindfulness, and somatic practices to foster nervous system healing. While I have extensive experience working with entertainment professionals, I use the same integrative tools to support individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life — each with their own unique story, goals, and challenges. If you’re looking for a therapist who brings curiosity, a holistic lens, and someone to walk beside you as you move toward the life you’re envisioning — offering insight, tools, and support along the way — you’re in the right place! As an Associate Marriage Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at the Center for Mental Health Excellence (CFMHE), I help individuals, couples, and families discover clarity, healing, and growth. Whatever you are going through, know that you are exactly where you are meant to be right now. I am here to help along your journey. I can help to equip you with various coping skills and tools to build the confidence and courage to dive deeper to address the deeply rooted causes of those things that you feel are holding you back from achieving your highest potential. My goal is to help you find your authenticity and reconnect to your highest self - to live the life you've always wanted by understanding where you came from, where you are, and where you aspire to be! I received my Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage Family Therapy at Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology. I did my undergraduate work at the University of California Irvine’s Claire Trevor School of the Arts where I received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Drama with an emphasis in Music Theatre. After undergrad, I went on to study at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio’s Meisner Conservatory Program in Santa Monica and received a Certificate in Acting. Having had a diverse work history from working in various aspects of the entertainment industry as both a performer and production; talent management and casting for film and television; studio management and leadership roles within fitness companies; customer service for the Walt Disney Company as a Guest Relations host and Tour Guide; and internationally renowned vocal coach, I have worked with a diverse group of people from all walks of life. Having always been interested in psychology and human behavior, I am determined to help you work toward your goals and to achieve a more happy and harmonious life that you envision for ourself by meeting you where they are and working collaboratively. I am committed to making the therapeutic process a collaborative and welcoming experience where individuals, couples, and families can work to find their voices and work through barriers that stop them from achieving their highest potential. In addition to my work as a psychotherapist, I am an internationally renowned vocal coach recognized by Backstage in their article “8 Great Vocal Coaches to Know in NYC and LA” and VoyageLA Magazine. I maintain my professional entertainment union memberships with Actors Equity Association and SAG-AFTRA as well as memberships with the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists and American Association for Marriage Family Therapists. My goal is to inspire clients to become the best versions of themselves and help them navigate their lives in a safe and supportive environment. Outside of my work as a psychotherapist, I am a Certified Holistic Peak Performance Coach offering holistic life coaching, reiki practitioner, and yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) having taught for Life Time, YNG Yoga Studios, Devi Rebel Yoga, Melt Ladera Ranch, CorePower Yoga, YogaSix, Surf & Sand Laguna Beach, and Z-Ultimate Self Defense Studios. In my free time, I enjoy spending time at the beach; surfing; running; practicing yoga and martial arts; traveling and exploring new destinations; in addition to spending time with my family and our two dogs. My approach focuses on empathy, active listening, and collaboration, and I prefer to see you as a whole person, meaning I see the person as separate from the problem. I work collaboratively with my clients blending various approaches to fit the needs of my clients from evidence based therapies such as CBT, DBT, and ACT; Solution Focused Narrative Therapy; Emotionally Focused Therapy; mindfulness approaches such as yoga and meditation; to various types of somatic therapies such as: Somatic Experiencing (SE), Trauma and Tension Release (TRE), and Emotional Freedom Technique (Tapping).
