Therapy should be a space where you are allowed to contemplate where your life is and explore where you want it to go, all without any fear of judgement or unfair pressure. I work with older adolescents, young adults, as well as adults of any age. I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, substance-use problems, ADHD, grief, and life transitions, but at the end of the day, I am happy to work with anyone who is feeling stuck and deciding where to start. I will meet you wherever you are and collaborate so that your goals are realistic and authentic. My role is to make sure that you feel heard, unjudged, and unpressured, and to provide you with realistic skills and tools to help you cope with life and move towards your goals. My style is casual, humorous and compassionate. It is my opinion that life is already serious enough, so I encourage a focus on self-care and believe there is no harm in taking time to build rapport with humor and casual conversation so that the therapeutic relationship is authentic. When I am not practicing as a therapist, I enjoy exercising and spending time in nature. I am passionate about movies, reading and video games and anything else that helps me recharge and provides me with joy and balance. It is my hope that through relaxed discussion, I can help clients lean into whatever in life helps them find their own sense of joy and balance. Everyone deserves compassionate support and I am excited to start navigating this process with you.
