Introduction

Become a happier, more fulfilled YOU! My name is Aprell Hamilton Taylor and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified School Counselor in the state of Georgia with more than 30 years as an educator and 7 years of experience in the mental health field. Through my work I have supported clients working through a wide range of concerns including anxiety, grief & loss, stress management, parenting challenges, ADHD, life changes and relationship issues, to name a few. It is my goal to be a source of encouragement and support for you as you move through challenging times and towards the life you want to live. "Ujima" is a Swahili word that means Collective Work and Responsibility. I see my practice as a way to build my community. This is especially true in my work with teens. Those transitional years from childhood to adulthood can be very difficult, often teens need help and guidance to make good decisions. Strong families make strong communities. With that in mind, I have built a practice that is sensitive to the needs of my community. I understand and acknowledge everyone's individuality and I aim to meet you where you are and create a safe space to support your needs. My goal is to plant seeds of growth and insight along your journey and in your season for change. Call today to schedule an appointment. Limited evening and weekend appointments are available.
