Dr. Copeland has provided counseling services in addiction treatment centers, colleges, private practices, and K–12 public schools. These diverse experiences give her unique insight into how life's challenges affect individuals, couples, and families across every stage of life. She draws on that experience to provide personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs. Dr. Copeland is passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, strengthen their relationships, and thrive. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. She specializes in helping clients navigate trauma, relationship challenges, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She believes that understanding both the science of the brain and the uniqueness of each person's story creates powerful opportunities for lasting healing and growth. Drawing on her advanced training in psychology and neuroscience, she helps clients understand how the brain influences thoughts, emotions, and behavior, then translates that knowledge into practical strategies that foster emotional regulation, healthier thinking patterns, and lasting change. Her motto is, “Together, we’ll help your brain stop being so dramatic.” For clients who desire it, Dr. Copeland also offers faith-integrated counseling, thoughtfully incorporating biblical principles alongside evidence-based therapeutic practices to honor each client's values and beliefs. Outside the counseling room, Dr. Copeland is a wife, mother of three, musician, and lifelong learner. She understands that life is often both beautiful and challenging and considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue hope, healing, and meaningful change. If you believe she may be a good fit for your journey, she would be honored to hear from you.
