My therapeutic style tends to be a bit eclectic. I am very real with my clients and focus a lot on validating their experiences, while also noticing the patterns that each client is creating, in order to explore the role these patterns may be playing in their life. This creates autonomy and understanding for the client to further create the change they feel ready for and that is best for where they are at. I am also trained in EMDR in order to further support my clients who have been through trauma in processing and moving past it. In grad school I worked with foster children in rural California and was exposed to a great need for systemic change and the true heartbreak that so many are struggling to cope with. This has grown into my passion of supporting those in navigating past trauma and exploring their attachment wounds. When I was working towards licensure I continued to work with teens within low socioeconomic environments. This solidified my passion for systemic change and how I can support those struggling through therapy.
