Ashlan Cornett, supervised by Dr. Jennifer Hatchett Stover, LPC-S, NCC, CSC, RYT, is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and school counselor who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and young adults navigate life’s emotional, social, academic, and developmental challenges. She is committed to creating a welcoming environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported as they develop confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills. Drawing from her experience as a school counselor, Ashlan understands the unique pressures young people may face at home, at school, within relationships, and during major life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is warm, collaborative, developmentally appropriate, and grounded in person-centered and strengths-based practices. She works alongside clients to help them understand their emotions, recognize their strengths, improve communication, and develop practical strategies for managing life’s challenges. Ashlan believes that every client has the capacity for growth and meaningful change when provided with a safe and supportive space. Whether helping a child learn to manage big emotions, supporting an adolescent through social or academic concerns, or guiding a young adult through identity development and life transitions, she is dedicated to helping clients feel empowered, understood, and hopeful about their future.
