Hi, I’m Ashley (Ash), an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who works with children, teens, adults, and couples to help navigate life’s challenges with empathy, humor, and balance. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients can better understand their emotions, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in themselves. I earned my B.A. in Psychology and Conflict Resolution from San Diego State University and my M.A. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Play Therapy, while also incorporating relational and attachment-based perspectives when working with adults and couples. I support clients with a range of concerns, including anxiety, emotional regulation, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. My goal is to complete advanced training in Sex Therapy to better support clients exploring identity, intimacy, and relationships. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, inclusive, and welcoming to clients of all backgrounds. I also offer space for faith-based conversations when aligned with a client’s needs, drawing from my own Jewish faith and appreciation for cultural identity. When I’m not in session or spending time with my two kids, you can usually find me at a car show on the weekends, connecting with people and my community.
