Introduction

Life is filled with changing seasons: the birth or loss of a child, starting or ending a job, marriage or breakups, aging, or losing a loved one. Sometimes these events happen all at once, creating a whirlwind of emotions that can feel overwhelming. Life changes can also strain your romantic relationship, leaving you frustrated and at a loss on how to move forward. Whether you’re stuck in a negative cycle, or you’re grieving the loss of the way things were, it’s okay to need support. I offer individual and couples counseling, with a holistic, personalized approach. My goal is to empower you to tap into your strengths while discovering new ones along the way. I believe our thoughts shape our perspective, and having a safe, neutral space to process those thoughts can lead to clarity and peace. Together, we can explore your past experiences to uncover patterns that shape how you think and feel today. *Couples: I am currently in the process of getting certified in the Gottman Method. This methodology is rooted in over 40 years of research by Drs. John and Julie Gottman, and aims to help couples improve communication, increase intimacy, and resolve conflicts in a healthy way. It's a structured yet flexible approach that tailors interventions to each couple's unique needs. ** I am also offering short-term premarital counseling. While weddings can be a major investment for your special day, investing in your relationship with premarital counseling can help you feel confident and prepared for a lifetime together. I start off with a full assessment of your relationship and following this, we discuss your strengths as a couple and areas that could use additional focus. Premarital counseling helps you prioritize your connection, equipping you with the tools to communicate effectively, navigate challenges, and build a lasting bond. Before you say, "I do," take the time to strengthen the foundation of your relationship! Asking for help can be difficult and finding the right fit in a therapist is important. I aim to build an open and honest relationship with all my clients. Please schedule a free 15-minute consultation by calling or through this website to see if we’re a good fit for your journey towards healing.
