Introduction

Hello! My name is Ashley Del Valle and I am the owner and founder of Sana Counseling and Therapy Services. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker #130708 based in the Central Valley of California. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Chicana/o Studies from University of California, Davis in 2019 and earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) graduate degree from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2022. Over the years, I have primarily worked in integrated community mental health settings and have extensive experience working with various mental health and substance use conditions.  When I am not out exploring nature or exercising, I am therapist Ashley. I go by Ashley and use she/they/ella/elle pronouns. I am a neurodiverse, queer, bilingual, Latinx/Chicanx therapist doing my best to cultivate a welcoming space for folks of all backgrounds and identities. I provide support for folks navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, and life transitions. My goal is to help you feel safe and supported in our sessions. I take pride in being LGBTQIA2S+ affirming, sex-positive, trauma-informed, poly-aware, and kink-knowledgeable. As the child of immigrants and as a licensed clinician, I believe you are the expert in your own life and I deeply value the stories and beliefs you bring into the room. I see them as powerful sources of insight and essential tools in the therapeutic and healing process. My hope in our work together, you’ll find a grounded, compassionate space to explore your story, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward the life you want.  I’m committed to making therapy accessible and inclusive, and I strive to create a collaborative space that honors the cultural practices and traditions of BIPOC communities. I hope you’ll have the chance to experience this firsthand in our work together.
