Introduction

Welcome, my name is Dr. Diehl. I am a licensed psychologist with a passion for helping children, teens, and young adults thrive. I specialize in therapy and assessment for children, adolescents, and young adults. I have expertise in positive psychology and am deeply committed to nurturing social-emotional learning and providing meaningful support to help individuals and families thrive. My experience spans a wide range of environments—including public schools, alternative education programs, residential facilities, and private practice—where I worked with individuals and their families facing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, family dynamics, school-related concerns, behavioral issues, social skills development, executive functioning, and other life adjustments. I approach each person with a strength-based mindset, using tailored strategies to not only address areas of difficulty but also to uplift and build on their unique strengths. I firmly believe that every individual is different, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. By working together in a collaborative and compassionate way, I aim to help clients set meaningful goals, apply evidence-based practices, and track progress in a supportive environment. My passion lies in helping young people grow their social and emotional skills—empowering them to understand and manage their feelings, build healthy relationships, show empathy, make thoughtful decisions, and reach their full potential. Originally from Upstate New York, I earned my undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. I later made Tampa my home, where I completed my education specialist and doctoral degrees at the University of South Florida. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys. I also enjoy traveling, whether it be to the beach or mountains, and cheering on the Tampa Bay Lightning!
