Introduction

I am a licensed psychologist in private practice specializing in eating disorders, weight management (including working with folks with bariatric surgery and on GLP-1s), self-esteem, body image, anxiety and stress-related disorders, depression, and OCD. I provide virtual therapy to adolescents and adults of all ages in **Massachusetts and Connecticut**, as well as parent-guided treatment for eating disorders and weight management. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based treatments, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy. I consider the whole person—including symptoms, values, relationships, and life circumstances—to develop a treatment plan that fits your needs and goals. I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Oklahoma State University, completed my doctoral internship in Clinical Health Psychology at Henry Ford Hospital, and completed my postdoctoral fellowship at Yale School of Medicine. I am also affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, where I provide clinical supervision to psychologists and trainees and research evidence-based treatments for eating disorders. My clinical work is closely connected to my research on eating and weight concerns and new approaches to treatment, allowing each to inform the other. I would be happy to connect for a consultation to see if I could be a good fit for you. Insurance and superbills: I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. I provide a superbill after each session that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Some plans offer out-of-network behavioral health benefits, while others do not. I recommend contacting your insurance company before beginning treatment to ask about your out-of-network benefits. For any additional questions, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thank you!
