Hello, I’m Ashley. I know that life can begin to feel heavy, overwhelming, and far from the life you imagined for yourself. Trauma, anxiety, grief, and chronic stress can leave you feeling emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, and stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. You may find yourself constantly on edge, shutting down emotionally, struggling in relationships, or feeling trapped in survival mode without fully understanding why. My goal in therapy is to help you move from surviving to truly living. Through EMDR and somatic therapy, we work together to help your mind and body process experiences that may still be keeping you stuck in fear, shame, hypervigilance, panic, or self-doubt. Rather than simply talking about your pain, these approaches help create lasting change by allowing your nervous system to finally release what it has been carrying for so long. As therapy progresses, many clients begin to notice they feel calmer, more grounded, and more connected to themselves. Triggers may feel less intense, relationships may feel safer, and emotions that once felt overwhelming can become easier to manage. You can begin to trust yourself again, feel more present in your daily life, and respond to challenges with greater confidence and clarity instead of fear or avoidance. Above all, I believe healing happens when we no longer have to fight against ourselves. Therapy is not about “fixing” who you are — it is about helping you reconnect with the version of yourself that trauma, anxiety, or pain may have buried. I will walk alongside you with compassion, honesty, and curiosity as we build the safety, skills, and resilience needed for meaningful healing and lasting growth.
