Introduction

Life doesn't slow down long enough for most of us to figure out why we keep ending up in the same painful patterns. The relationship that leaves you anxious and unsure where you stand. The habit you promised yourself you'd quit, again. The version of yourself you thought you'd be by now, still just out of reach. If any of that sounds familiar, you're not alone, and you're not doing anything wrong. These patterns make sense once you understand where they came from. I work with people navigating exactly this. Anxious attachment and the exhausting loop of overthinking every text, every silence, every "are we okay?" Substance use that started as a way to cope and quietly became the thing running the show. Relationships, romantic, family, friendships, that leave you feeling more drained than supported, more alone than connected, even when you're surrounded by people. My approach is direct and collaborative. I'm not the therapist who just nods along while you talk in circles. I specialize in addiction and attachment, and I ask the questions that get underneath the story you've told a hundred times, so we can find what's actually driving it. That's where the real work happens. Not in staying stuck analyzing the past, but in using it to understand yourself clearly enough to make different choices, tolerate feelings you used to avoid, and build the kind of relationship with yourself and others that you've wanted for a long time. Therapy with me isn't about becoming a different person. It's about finally becoming the version of you that's been buried under old patterns, old coping strategies, and old ways of surviving that no longer serve you. If you're tired of white knuckling your way through anxiety, relationships, or old habits, and you're wondering if it will ever feel different, it can. I work with people who are ready to stop managing the pattern, start understanding it, and move beyond it into a new way of relating that opens up a new way of living. If that sounds like where you're headed, I'd love to hear from you.
