You may understand exactly why you’re stuck—and still not know how to change it. Maybe it’s showing up in your relationship, your work, or a pattern you keep repeating. I work with adults and couples who are thoughtful, self-aware, and wanting something to shift. You may be tired of having the same argument, second-guessing yourself, feeling consumed by work, or understanding your patterns without actually feeling different. My style is warm, direct, and engaged. I won’t just sit back while you do all the work. I’ll tell you what I’m noticing, help you connect the dots, and gently challenge you when I think it will help. You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out—we’ll make sense of it together. With individuals, we might work on a relationship that keeps affecting you, difficulty setting boundaries, self-doubt, work stress, or a decision you can’t seem to get clear on. The goal is not just insight. It’s to understand what is driving the pattern so you can respond differently. With couples, we look beneath the surface argument to the cycle between you—what happens when one of you feels hurt, criticized, dismissed, or alone, and how the other responds. Once that pattern becomes clearer, couples can begin to have conversations that feel less defensive, more honest, and more connected. My approach is relational and attachment-based, drawing from AEDP and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Sometimes our work is practical and focused. Other times, we slow down and go deeper emotionally. I use both depending on what will help us get to the heart of what’s happening. Therapy with me is about making sense of what’s happening, getting clear about what you need, and helping you move forward in a way that feels meaningful and real.
