Introduction

When your child is having big meltdowns, withdrawing, or going through something painful, it can feel overwhelming as a parent. You want to help, but you’re not always sure how. In therapy, children don’t have to find the perfect words — they can show you what’s inside through play, art, and creative expression in a space where they feel completely safe. Child-Centered Play Therapy: I use this to create a safe, non-judgmental space where children can explore their inner world, build self-esteem, and develop coping skills — all at their own pace. Play is a child’s natural language, and I meet them right where they are. Expressive Arts & Narrative Therapy: This approach is great for teens and adults who benefit from creative, directive methods — telling their story through art, metaphor, or writing when words alone aren’t enough. Sand Tray Therapy: I use this as a powerful tool for teens (and some adults) to create scenes that reflect their inner emotional world — helping them process experiences that are hard to put into words.
