Ashley works with women, men, couples, and parents navigating trauma, complex or high-conflict divorce, relationship struggles, parenting challenges, grief, dementia, and caregiving. She also has a special understanding of foster, adoptive, blended, and special-needs families and the unique pressures these families may carry. Her approach to counseling is grounded in understanding and connection. Ashley believes healing begins when people feel safe enough to be honest about what they have experienced and how it continues to affect them. She primarily uses a person-centered approach as well as EMDR, DBT, the Gottman Method, and SYMBIS based on the needs of the person or couple sitting with her. Clients can expect Ashley to be warm, compassionate, understanding, and hopeful. She wants people to know they remain in control of their counseling journey. Ashley will walk alongside them, but they are always in the driver’s seat. Her hope is that clients leave feeling safe, understood, connected, and reminded that healing is possible.
