Life is never a linear line to where we want to be. Learning to ride the waves of life and navigating the storms that surround us can be hard. I believe that every person holds their own knowledge, strengths, and healing power within themselves. I believe that when we are true to our authentic selves we are better able to ride the waves of life. Therapy is an opportunity for exploring and using those individual strengths for healing. I hope to be able to co-create a safe place for insight and personal growth. I honor the courage it takes to endeavor in the therapeutic process. I like to use experiential modalities for therapy, including art, play, sand, and music. I also incorporate DBT and CBT into my practices and I am EMDR trained. I work with all ages. I received a bachelor's in family studies from Utah Valley University in 2015 and a Masters of Social Work in 2023. Since that time I have worked with many populations including young children, teens, young adults, and LGBTQIA+ members. I have spent many years working in wilderness and residential therapy programs. I am currently attending Utah Valley University working towards a master's of social work degree. I have lived in and out of Utah and Hawaii for my adult life. The beach is my happy place. I enjoy taking nature walks with my dog. I also love listening to audiobooks.
