Introduction

I'm Ashley, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the owner of Ashley Moore Therapy, LLC. In 2015 I graduated from CU-Denver with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I then went on to earn a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Phoenix in 2018. After earning this degree, I spent four years working in mental health in varying capacities before completing a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University in 2022. Since graduating, I have completed additional training and courses - I am EMDR trained, a Board Certified Transgender Care Therapist, and a Board Certified Clinical Sexologist. I am now a Clinical Sexology Ph.D. Candidate where my research focused on the relationship between sex education and sexual satisfaction. My practice is focused on identity development and personal and relational growth by providing a space for gracious acceptance and authenticity. As a multiracial, non-white provider, I bring awareness of how culture, identity, and systemic factors shape lived experience. I work through a trauma-informed, culturally relevant, LGBTQ+-affirming, and sex-positive lens. My therapeutic approach is eclectic and collaborative, drawing primarily from solution-focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and systemic perspectives. I work with clients from diverse backgrounds who present with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational challenges, infidelity, parenting transitions, nontraditional family structures, LGBTQ+ identities, kink, polyamory, and consensual non-monogamous relationships, marginalized populations, underserved populations, and the list continues. I strive to provide therapy that is culturally responsive, gender-affirming, and LGBTQ+-affirming, with careful attention to each client’s unique context and lived experience. I view therapy as a collaborative partnership, walking alongside clients through change and transition while using a strength-based, affirming approach to build resilience and sustainable growth.
